Reviews From amazon

I already know a bit of Node so I wasn’t expecting this book to teach me it from basics. What I needed a reference to help me with problems that I run into. For that purpose this book is excellent. I’ve used a couple other Apress recipe books and I like that you can look up the problem you have and just have a solution for it right there. I think if you’re expecting this book to teach you Node completely then it’s going to be a bit too hard but if you need to know how to solve your Node problems then it’s ideal. — By L. Nolan

When I got the book I was hopping for more real life scenarios and for each lesson to build on the last. I am on chapter 5 now and while I have learned a bit about node.js it was not what I had expected. I will certainly use it as a reference book but I have resorted to other means to learn node.js. I found some great youtube videos that gave me more real life examples and built upon each other. — By Justin Sommer
